I am using the IPAQ 210 as a PDA and also as a GPS with a BC-337 CF Receiver and Iguidance. I have been very pleased with all the features.

So I decided to make the move to HP. The 210 was just what I had hoped for. It has been extremely reliable and very versitle. I enjoy the Bluetooth ability to sync with my laptop. I know it will work with my company's wireless network even though I have not yet gotten the correct server information only because I have not taken the time. The WLAN works well with my home based wireless network. The display is the best I have ever seen in a PDA. It is clear and crisp. Even with poor vision I can read the text on the screen at all but the lowest font size.

The only drawback I have found thus far is the weight and size (which is a little larger than the Palm device I am used to) and the transition to the Windows Mobile operatiing system and interface. I took me a little while to get used to that after over 7 years with Palm. A very nice device and I am a confirmed HP convert. Highly recommended.

This ipaq 210 is really very fast. it connect to the internet in few seconds. there is great expansion choice as it has both sdhc slot and cf card slot. it is very light weight eventhough it has bigger high resolution screen and bigger size. Great IPaQ

I had an IPAQ hx2795. The 211 is much better. WM6, larger screen, USD port, etc. Alao makes a great easily carried ebook reader with MobiPocket reader.

Well-engineered, great support, indispensible

I have had a Pocket PC since day one. I had an iPaq 3650, then an o2 XDA II, and finally the HP 211. I've been really happy with them in general, especially how portable they are. I take it everywhere. I use it all the time to manage my time, create/use checklists (ListPro), and edit MS Word and Excel files. I feel that my info is secure. The HP service center is in the US. My HP got jolted and malfunctioned, and turnaround repair time was awesome (less than 1 week). Good job - HP! I chose my latest HP particularly because they are great for long flights. In the airplane when they turn off the lights, my o2 XDA II was too bright. But the HPs can be pretty well dimmed to a comfortable level for reading in the dark (so you don't feel like a beacon). I use Pocket Informant (for the user interface, due date reminders in Tasks), DelNotifQueue (check on/delete upcoming alarms - but it's only ok), Chronos (to override system sound, add snooze features). Come on Microsoft, not everyone wants Facebook and Twitter (re: Windows Phone 7)! For the 211, I would give Features 5 stars if it had a camera. A GSM phone (unlocked) would be nice too. Overall the device looks too business-like for me (my o2 XDA II looks better), but feels really nice and well-constructed, and it has a great rubbery non-slip back. Bright screen, and battery life is also very good.
