MOTOROKR S9 Cell Phone Headset (Bluetooth 2.0) not so good
Strengths: form factor is very comfortable (for my head). Read some complaints about hurting ears, etc., but only experienced after wearing for several hours. Ear/Mic quality excellent. Battery life acceptable.
Weakness: Volume control & Mic shorted out on me with in 2 weeks of ownership. Used under normal circumstances & moderate work out situations. Useless for communication can only use as a wireless headphone.
Would not recommend buying this product for it's "sweat resistance". Product does not live up to this claim any more than any other headsets out there & may be worse in this regard. You would think it would work based on how it looks, but no. Making shoddy products like this is the reason Motorola is going out of business. It does work exactly like you'd want it too (form, function, etc.) until...

Very nice, but not quite perfect.
Strengths: Compact, self-contained design, light, good quality sound.
Weakness: Bluetooth issues, cryptic LED signals, tight fit.
The design of these headphones is very nice and the sound quality is excellent (I am not an audiophile). Pairing with my Treo750 was easy, but not quite so with my Dell D420. Not all controls work with all devices and programs (behold the non-standard Bluetooth standard, not entirely the fault of Motorola or this particular product). LED signalling is a bit complicated, but learnable. They are...

About time a good bluetooth music headset
Strengths: Lightweight, nice sound, waterproof
Weakness: price, tight fit, buttons take getting used to, phone calls only in left ear
I have previously owned the HT820 Moto..you've seen them, the big ugly ones that make you look like Princess Leia, the heavy, uncomfortable ones? Well the S9 is a total departure from those. The S9 sound almost as good as the 820s but not as much bass. They are much lighter and fit better, although they still pinch you around the ears and temples. You can actually wear them upside down and they...

Noo.. What junk....
Strengths: Sweat proof... Durable..
Weakness: Low volume... Controls unusable....
What a disappointment. No surprise coming from Motorola though. What was I thinking? This headset’s volume is too low to be useful in a noisy gym, or anywhere where there is ambient noise. The controls... The controls.. I don’t know how it made it out into production this way. The two main function buttons are surrounded by touch sensitive Volume buttons one one side, and the FWD and REV...
