PCTV Pro USB is a USB 2.0 TV tuner for analog TV (antenna or cable). Using the included Pinnacle MediaCenter software and remote control, you can watch, TimeShift and record TV shows. Recordings can be made to the hard drive in MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX formats - or even directly to DVD. You can also play CDs and DVDs and access all the media files on your PC. Bus-powered and compact, it is perfect for portable use - but it also looks good on your desk.

Strengths: easy to hook up
Weakness: not so good picture in full screen even with good video card
lots of things wrong quality not there. when you try to rewind live tv the quality really goes to crap and has a green line at the bottom of the screen. not happy at all

Pinnace PC USB TV Tuner
Strengths: Fairly easy to hook up, multiple recording formats
Weakness: quality changes from channel to channel and from day to day, forget trying to have a smooth integration with a scheduler, doesn't work with Windows MCE 2005
this little piece of plastic is good for few things, one of which is NOT watching clear TV. it works for now, and you can scedule programs from titantv.com, but that's a hassle compared to the simplicity of a tuner that works with MCE. Don't buy this thing.

Product is horrible
Strengths: None
Weakness: Everything.
Couldn't successfully install the software - it locked my PC up several times and I couldn't even reboot. After finally getting the software installed it worked for a grand total of 2 minutes until it locked the computer up AGAIN when flipping through channels. Very frustrating and I would also agree that the channels did not look all that great when I did get to browse. Avoid this like the...
