Excellent device
Strengths: GPS is great, unit is compact and feature packed at a reasonable price, impressive battery life.
Weakness: Occasionally crashes. Car adapter is a bit awkward for my car's interior.
When I was shopping for a GPS unit most store assistants warned me against getting a PDA-style device, but I couldn't justify spending so much money for something that would just live in my car and give me directions. I was willing to accept slightly weaker GPS for a device that would do many more things, at the same price. 3-4 weeks into my ownership of the Mypal A636 I haven't found any reason...
