iPAQ 6915

Strengths: Great all in one, an office on the run. Phone works fantastic, GPS is a huge help when traveling. Web browsing and realtime email are fantastic. Reception of phone signal and GPS are amazing.

Weakness: Camera boot time is slow. Battery can be used up in a half a day if you're working the device hard e.g. GPS running. Minor nit, it has a 2.5mm jack and my headphones are all 3.5mm.

I used to travel with a phone, a PDA, a laptop, and a GPS. Now I have all of that in one device that works great. In a recent business trip to Houston I was able to stay on top of my email with the iPAQ much better than before.

iPAQ hw6515

Strengths: Good phone, nice camera, nice build-in gps unit, blue tooth.

Weakness: Weak battery for phone and GPS navigation, Be sure to ask if gps software was included. BAD belt case, dropped 3 times at least. Small screen. Crashs when too many software were running. NO wifi.

My father brought one and realized that the gps does not include navigation software and was banded with singular ... only accept singular's SIM card... lol. Well, i think this is not HP's fault, maybe it is an OEM, but need to be award before buying. Also the belt case is terrible. Almost dropped for 3 times while walking. Phone function is good, but again the battery is too weak. It might crash...

iPAQ hw6515

Strengths: Excellent phone and email facilities and other doesn't crash and is very reliable.

Weakness: Battery too weak for what the PDA/Phone does. Screen too small when a lot of the software written for PDA's is written for bigger screens i.e. HP4350. So make sure the software fits.

I was very disappointed in the Battery life and think they should have installed a 1800ah battery, not the 1200 because this machine can be used for everything you need in your day. I got rid of mine purely because of the battery life and small screen. I also found it very hard to find a replacement battery of 1800 on ebay or even in the HP stores on the internet. If they put in a bigger battery,...

I love the 6515

Strengths: Only after the BIOS update did it really impress me. When using a bluetooth headset, the battery would drain quite rapidly but the BIOS update cured that. I get great reception with the Cingular sys

Weakness: Belt carrier is really a bad design, when raising ones arms a shirt would catch on the top latch thus causing it to fall out. Before BIOS update it would require a softboot because it would lockup.

I'd be lost without it. Purchased the GPS software, works great. The key is the BIOS update. It fixed a lot of things, one being what I considered high battery consumption while using bluetooth. No wifi which is too bad. When bluetooth is turned on and the phone rings, the system would require a reboot to bring back to life which really started to get under my skin, again the BIOS update fixed...
